Dual and Combined Degrees
Dual Degree Programs
Those of you who are interested in more than one program offered by the College may want to work on two bachelor’s degrees concurrently. If you are considering working on dual degrees, make an appointment with a ChE Undergraduate advisor and with the program advisor from the respective program listed below.
Chemical Engineering and Materials Science and Engineering
Program Advisor: Prof. Steve Yalisove, smy@umich.edu
Academic Advisor: Patti Vogel, 734-764-3275, pvogel@umich.edu
A combined degree may be obtained in chemical engineering and materials science and engineering. Chemical engineering students who decide to pursue a second degree in materials science and engineering will take a minimum of 14 additional hours. For more information, please pick up ChE/MSE Dual Degree information in 3146 Dow or visit the ChE web page.
